Information on Gun Safe Moving
When moving pianos, gun safes, and safes, our crews emphasize safety and protection of the item being moved. Because of the heavy weight, difficult size of these items, and equipment that we need to bring (ramps, protective floor covering, dollies, handcarts, etc.), a four-hour minimum may apply, including travel time to and from our warehouse. Please note, our company may decline to move safes (or any object) weighing over 1,200 pounds.
For best results please have the make, model, dimensions, and serial number or send a picture of the gun safe to our office to properly plan for your move.

- Crew size depends on weight / access
- Safe moving time may be billed with a four-hour minimum
- For gun safe and piano moves, travel time may be charged to and from the warehouse

- StorageTransit does not move safes over 1,200 pounds without forklift assistance
- StorageTransit may decline to move any item or object that is deemed unsafe to move
