Freight Shipping

Freight shipment prepared for transport

Items may be palletized, containerized, or crated and shipped via freight to various locations. This type of freight shipping method is typically used when sending items to locations that are outside common moving company routes.

Rates: depend on size, weight, and services required at pickup and destination.

When Freight Shipping Makes Sense

Moving trucks follow common routes between major cities. When your items are headed somewhere off those routes, or you are shipping only a few pieces rather than a full household, freight is often the more practical option. Items are palletized, containerized or crated, then shipped to the destination.

What Affects Freight Rates

Rates depend on the size and weight of the shipment and the services needed at pickup and delivery, such as loading help, liftgate service or inside delivery. Freight also works well together with our crating and packing services for items that need extra protection.
